Radio Ad: No Nonsense

Read the transcript:

Hi, this is Danny White, former ASU and Dallas Cowboy quarterback, and I want to talk to you about Colt White. I’ve known Colt and his family for three generations, all the way back to the White family reunions when we were kids. They’ve always been honest, straight-forward people. Kind of no nonsense people. Colt’s like that, his dad Phil was like that, his grandpa Gettis was like that. If I lived in the Rim County I’d like to have a guy like Colt as my Constable. I don’t, so I can’t vote for him but you can. Vote for Colt White for Constable of Northern Gila County. You’ll be glad you did.

Hi, this is Randy Roberson, and I wanted to speak to you for a moment about the upcoming election and the office of Northern Gila County Constable here in Payson.  This position requires someone with a deep understanding of the community and someone with a proven track record as a law enforcement professional.  Colt White is that man.  He’s lived in Rim country 34 years and has nearly 20 years in law enforcement.  Vote experience, vote professionalism, vote Colt White for Constable.

Recap from my Fundraiser

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

We had a wonderful fundraiser this last week at Beverly & Max Balthrop’s home, and I wanted to thank everyone who contributed to the event. Here is an email that one supporter who attended sent to her friends and family:

Hey there!!!

We just got home from a GREAT fund raising dinner held at Beverly & Max Balthrop’s home just down the street from us! What a delicious meal they served (Beverly did all the cooking and it was absolutely gorgeous too!). We were entertained by Jinx Pyle who sang us some great cowboy songs playing a guitar that once belonged to Johnny Cash! He has such a great voice and a real straight forward way of telling a story – he told about his Grandfather who was the second constable in this area – and the man who was the first too, but I don’t remember his name (sorry) and then told why he was voting for Colt – the same reasons we are backing him – he’s been here for 34 years (we’ve been here for 30 and have known him all that time) – worked in law enforcement for 18 years – as well as worked in his family’s business for 23 years, so he has business background too! His family are all just great – I love his wife and his kids! What a wonderful group! You can tell a lot about a person by looking at their family relationships – anyways – then Colt talked about his campaign and thanked us all for coming – and then thanked the Balthrops and all the people who helped serve the dinner and we all had a good time visiting. I don’t know if all of you know him – but we do and think so very highly of him… we know he is the man for the job and hope he gets it!

Love you all – Nancy (Gartner)

Radio Ad: Integrity

Hi, my name is Jim Connolly and I think that you might all agree that we live in serious times.  Some might say America has had a wake up call, which would include you and me right here in Payson, Arizona.  I have a long time friend named Colt White who’s running for Constable in this coming primary.  I think his 34 years in Northern Gila County has more than prepared him for such a serious responsibility because he knows the area and the people well.  And with his 18 years in local law enforcement more than qualifies him for the office of Constable.  But more than that it’s probably integrity.  Yeah, I think integrity.  It’s something his grandfather gave to his dad and his dad instilled in his son Colt.  It’s something every elected official needs.  So for the best reasons, I’m standing for Colt White for Constable this coming primary.  So stand up with me and vote.
